Fiji Tasks
Finish something. Drop a clip. Watch the jar fill.

100 more to fill the jar
A task app that pays you in paperclips. Every task you close drops one into the jar, so a productive day looks like something instead of feeling like nothing.
Inspired by the paperclip sales strategy.

Nothing logged yet. Drop a paperclip in the jar.
Every paperclip opens a row with what you finished and tracks your tasks.
“Inspired by the paperclip sales strategy: a young broker kept two jars on his desk and moved one paperclip across for every call he made. Fiji Tasks is that jar, for everything you finish.”
He made his calls to empty a jar, not to hit a number. We built Fiji Tasks on the same trick: make the work physical, make the pile visible, and the motivation takes care of itself.
How it works
Finish something
Write it down in Fiji, start a pomodoro if it needs one. What counts is the moment you're done with it.
Drop a clip
One tap, one paperclip. It falls into the jar and stays there, with everything else you closed today.
Let the pile talk
The jar fills up in front of you. On the days it feels like nothing happened, the jar disagrees.
Why you’ll love it
Progress you can see
A checked box disappears. A paperclip doesn't. Fiji keeps the evidence of your day where you can look at it.
Capture in one line
Type it the way you'd say it — "call Dana Thursday 3pm" — and Fiji sorts out the what and the when.
A pomodoro built in
Start a 25-minute timer on any task without leaving the app. Twenty-five minutes, one clip — that's where the jar's daily target comes from.
Quiet by default
One nudge at the time you picked. No badges, no streak guilt, no nine notifications about the same task.

Fiji Tasks is now on MacOS. The jar is included.
